MEMBERSHIP DUES TAX DEDUCTABLE
IRS Publication 526 indicates that your $25 NFH dues are eligible for a federal income tax deduction, because NFH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity. http://www.irs.gov/publications/p526/ar02.html

Elections selected Bruce Merrill as treasurer plus Diane Folger, Diane Keuler & Roger Lieske as board members. Many thanks to outgoing board members Jean Merrill & Margret Thoman as well as outgoing treasurer Sue Lieske for their service. Current board members & officers are listed on the Contact page.

The four New Freedom Heritage videos made by Media Boomtown as part of the York Cultural Alliance Creative Impact Grant can now be viewed on the New Freedom Heritage website on the Videos page or at http://www.newfreedomheritage.org/home/index.php?videos
The videos, as well as the Morphing Historical videos, are on the New Freedom Heritage Kiosk that is available for loan throughout the community. The kiosk has been at the Peoples Bank, Paul Smith Library, Shrewsbury Lutheran Village & Magistrate Courthouse. In the new year it will be at the Shrewsbury elementary school and will also be at the Strand Theater in York as part of the Cultural Alliance fund raising kick-off.
GIVE 4 GREEN

Impressive progress occurred at the New Freedom Heritage Freedom Green Community Park Project site!. Removal of a rotting tree, re-grading of the Freedom Green, application of top soil, reseeding, installation of gravel path, and relocation of both the shed and the wishing well sign have been completed.
