New Freedom Heritage Committees
Historical
Committee
Research
various aspects of New Freedom’s history and use that information
to plan both projects designed to educate the public and events which
will encourage heritage tourism, including such things as walking tours
and speakers knowledgeable in local history.
Beautification
Committee
Enhance and beautify the central town
area
(Main, Front,
Franklin and Constitution Streets) to create a cohesive town center
through streetscaping, maintenance and guidelines.
Community
Relations Committees
Community
Relations has three distinct areas of focus: Publicity,
Fundraising/Financing, and Events.
Fest
Committee
Help us undertake the tremendously rewarding task of
coordinating and producing
the New Freedom Fest each September.
We are
ALWAYS looking for help on our four committees! The organization
meets once a month on average, and are an hour or two in length.
Monthly meetings are an integral part of making our organization thrive
and our town
a better place to live. Have a particular interest in New
Freedom? Come share it with us and do your part to make our town
greater!
